Employment Opportunities
The efforts of Nutritional Services are coordinated by dedicated people in a combination of staff and volunteer positions.  Please see the lists below for the types of positions that may be available.

Staff Positions

  • Center Coordinators and Senior Center Managers
    Oversee all programs and operations at a specific center.  Must be organized, out-going and have previous experience/education in volunteer programs, working with seniors and knowledge of the community.  Usually part-time M-F, 20 hours per week.

  • Meal Transporter
    Transport bulk & individually packaged meals to senior luncheon centers and other drop-off locations from food service facility.  Must have chauffeur's license, excellent driving record, ability to lift and load, read and follow maps.  Usually part-time M-F, 20 hours per week.

  • Home Delivered Drivers
    Deliver food to senior's homes using your own vehicle and following specific routes.  Must have good driving record, ability to follow maps, personable and able to maintain client confidentiality.  Part-time M-F, 10-15 hours per week.

  • Food Service
    Variety of positions available with various skills required.  Cooks, tray-line staff, aides, inventory, loaders, etc.  Part and Full-time M-Fri varied shifts 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM.

  • Others
    Office and management positions with the Agency including Home Delivered Meals In-home Assessor, Human Resources, Fiscal, Nutrition, Computer, Volunteer Recruitment and Development.  Most are full-time.

Current Openings in the Agency

  • Call in Home Delivered Drivers

  • Call in Food Service Staff 
    Needed Monday-Friday. Days and hours will vary. Must be available during the hours of 5:30 am - 3 pm. Food service experience helpful. Could lead to regular employment.

  • Call in Meal Transporters
    Needed Monday-Friday. Days and hours will vary. Must be available during the hours of 8:00 am - 1 pm. Chauffeurs license required and excellent driving record. Drive agency van to various locations in 3 counties with bulk food deliveries to sites.
